Lone Madrone

Lone Madrone Points West White 2013

At Lone Madrone, they believe strongly that in order to produce wines of the highest caliber, you must first start with grapes that are of exceptional quality. To that end, they go to great lengths to procure grapes from small, locally owned, and sustainable farmed vineyards on the west side of Paso Robles. Based on what we tasted, those efforts are paying off. Fragrances of peaches, tropical fruits, honey, and citrus blossoms rise up from a glass. A sip delivers flavors of peach, pineapple, and kiwi that unfold into whispers of honey and white blossoms. Rich and round with a pleasant acidity, enjoy a bottle on a warm spring evening. 389 cases produced. Rating: 90
