Les Champs Fourne Crozes-Hermitage

Les Champs Fourne Crozes-Hermitage

Rich ruby but not opaque. Wow, really floral and perfumed with herbs and essence of violets. Medium weight. Piquant and peppery in the mouth. Not great fruit, thinner feel with green olives and unripe tannins. This starts much better than it finishes--$75 nose, $10 palate. I'll average those out and say I wouldn't buy it at any price.
